Ending LGBTI Discrimination on IDAHoT, May 17

International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHoT) and LGBTI discrimination is about showing your support for ending discrimination against LGBTI people across the world. On May 17th 1990, the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the DSM where it was listed as a mental illness from the international classifications of diseases. We are now celebrating every IDAHoT to campaign against LGBTI discrimination.

Living Proud and QLife would like to invite everyone to commit to challenging the discrimination LGBTI people experience worldwide every day by taking part in an online event.

Here’s how you can participate:

1. Print out the sign which can be downloaded from this post (click here for PDF) or make your own. Fill out your commitment statement and take a photo with your statement.

2. Post it on our Facebook page or on Instagram and tag @LivingProudWA

3. Use the following hashtags: #idahot2016, #livingproud, #qlife #icommitonidahot2016, #endLGBTIdiscrimination

4. Invite your friends to take up the challenge. We want as many people as possible to send loving, caring and positive messages.
