The national QLife Helpline is established. LGBTIQ+ Health as the contract holder, supported by five state partners:
- Twenty10 incorporating GLCS NSW (NSW)
- Gay and Lesbian Switchboard, now known as Switchboard (VIC)
- Gay and Lesbian Welfare Association, now known as Diverse Voices (QLD)
- Gay and Lesbian Community Services of WA, now known as Living Proud (WA)
- The Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service (SA/NT)
