The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the financial growth and sustainability of Living Proud through strategic grants, fundraising, partnerships, fee-for-service propositions and capacity-building initiatives. This role will oversee key revenue generating areas including training development and delivery, events and fundraising, volunteer coordination, memberships and grants and tenders.

Working closely with the CEO, you will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in securing funding, building partnerships, and managing teams. Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, you possess excellent communication skills and thrive in networking and engaging stakeholders. Your creativity and innovation shine in fundraising and business development initiatives.
You will also excel in developing, expanding, and overseeing training programs, ideally with experience in CRM systems like Salesforce. As a passionate and skilled professional, you care deeply about the issues facing the LGBTIQA+SB community and are driven to make a difference. You are a values-driven leader who contributes to a positive and respectful culture.
As Executive Assistant, you’ll be the central point of coordination for the CEO’s activities, ensuring smooth operations across the organisation. You’ll also support the Board, manage office functions, and help maintain a positive, respectful and inclusive workplace culture.

As Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of volunteer engagement—from recruitment and onboarding to training, supervision, and evaluation. You’ll work closely with the Services Manager to support peer volunteers and with the Events & Fundraising Officer to ensure our events are well-resourced and impactful.
You’re a people-person with a passion for community and a talent for building strong, inclusive teams. You bring creativity, structure, and warmth to your work, and you’re motivated by helping others connect and contribute.
