The Queer & Accessible project is working with LGBTIQA+SB events, venues and safe spaces, offering practical assistance, financial support and advice as well as promoting accessible events to the LGBTIQS+SB and disability communities.
Our Project Officers are both LGBTIQA+SB people with disability and work closely with a lived experience panel to deliver the Q&A project.
During PrideFEST 2021 the Q&A Project worked with PrideWA and other groups, supporting their events to be more accessible through providing Auslan interpreters, quiet space, audio description and accessibility maps.
LGBTIQ+ people with disability are invited to steer the direction of the project through participating in consultations, completing an online survey or contacting us directly.
Have your say on the accessibility during PrideFEST 2021, Did you use the access supports provided, what else would have improved accessibility at PrideFEST events?
Complete the survey here for the chance to win a $50 gift voucher
